Traditional IBS is passive system which used Feeder cable as the electromagnetic wave transmission media. it is helpful for user indoor by improving siganl quality and coverage and good for BTS by reducing its work.

A. Fiber Optic Cable: Transmit light signal, immune to electromagnetic interference, Higher Bandwidths, Longer distance.

B. Feeder Cable: Transmission tube of RF signal.

C. Combiner: A group of Transformers that assemble and combine their bodies into a single machine.

D. RRU: Radio Remote Unit, a radio transceiver handles light signal and RF signal by Controller at long distance.

E. Coupler: A device used to connect some RF signal from major RF transmitting power.

F. Antenna: A device transmits and receives wireless signal.

G. Splitter: A device couples a defined amount of the electromagnetic power in a transmission line to a port enabling the signal to be used in another circuit.
