Recently, as announced by the Evaluation Committee of the China Patent Award, Kingsignal's invention patent for its 5G core network product UPF, titled "Data Packet Processing Method, Device, Computer Equipment and Storage Medium," has won the Excellence Award of the 25th China Patent Award. (According to the statistics of the National Intellectual Property Administration, in 2023, China granted 921,000 invention patents authorizations, 2.09 million utility model patents, and 638,000 design patents; a total of 772 awards of various types were selected in the 25th National Patent Award.)

This patent has invented an industry-leading packet forwarding patented technology for high-performance forwarding on the 5G core network's User Plane Function (UPF). It has been commercially implemented in multiple application scenarios such as private networks, special communications, and satellite communications, and has received high praise from customers.

Based on the analysis of data from previous years, the selection of the 25th Patent Award was more difficult and the requirements were stricter compared to previous years. This award not only reflects our deep technical accumulation in the field of core networks but also demonstrates the company's innovation strength and technical level.
